South Dakota Bankers Foundation Scholarship
The South Dakota Bankers Foundation Scholarship, in partnership with Plains Commerce Bank, is a scholarship opportunity available to residents of South Dakota who are pursuing education in banking and financial services. The scholarship, worth $4,000, will be awarded to eligible applicants who meet the following criteria: the applicant must be a college sophomore, junior, senior, graduate student or a second-year technical school student seeking employment in banking or financial services. For those in South Dakota colleges, they must be entering their second, third or final year of college or graduate school during the 2024-2025 academic year. Similarly, those attending a South Dakota technical school must be entering their second year during the 2024-2025 academic year.
Applications are due by 5 p.m. on April 1, 2024.
Plains Commerce Bank High School Scholarship
The Plains Commerce Bank High School Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for graduating high school seniors in South Dakota! If you plan on attending an accredited college, university, vocational technical school, or community college on a full-time basis, this scholarship is for you.
The scholarship amounts offered in Aberdeen, Sioux Falls, Mitchell, and Watertown are as follows: Aberdeen has two $500 scholarships, Sioux Falls has two $1,000 scholarships, Mitchell has two $500 scholarships and Watertown has one $1,000 scholarship.
