Taylor Quinn Awarded $4,000 South Dakota Bankers Foundation Scholarship

We are proud to announce that Taylor Quinn has been awarded a $4,000 scholarship through the South Dakota Bankers Foundation in partnership with Plains Commerce Bank. This scholarship recognizes a current college student pursuing a career in the financial services industry.

Taylor is a student at Augustana University, where he is double-majoring in Economics and Government & International Affairs. His passion for both fields has inspired his career goal of becoming an attorney specializing in tax law or financial litigation.

To gain valuable experience while completing his undergraduate studies, Taylor is actively involved in several campus organizations, including the Economics Club, Government Club, and Model United Nations. He also previously served as president of Augustana University's South Dakota Republicans chapter.

Outside of academics, Taylor enjoys spending time with family and friends on the golf course, fishing, playing recreational softball, and following professional football.

When asked about receiving the scholarship, Taylor shared:

“Thank you again to Plains Commerce Bank for believing in me and the next generation of South Dakota. I am deeply appreciative of this scholarship. My goal as I build my career is to open as many doors as possible, and I feel blessed to open this one, too.”
