We are proud to share that Kay Kaup, Market President in Hoven, was selected as one of the South Dakota Banker's Association's Women of Impact for 2025! 

Kaup has dedicated nearly three decades of service to Plains Commerce Bank, beginning her career as an intern while pursuing her college education. Over the years, she has distinguished herself as a trusted team member, a supportive leader, and an invaluable contributor to both the organization and the community she serves.

In her role as Market President, Kaup provides steady leadership, thoughtful mentorship, and exceptional care to her team and customers. Her impact extends far beyond the bank, as she is deeply engaged in community service. Kaup serves as President of the Hoven Community Foundation and Treasurer of the Hoven Community Pool Fund, volunteers with the Hoven School Boosters Club, and sponsors monthly meals for area seniors. Each of these commitments reflects her genuine dedication to enhancing the quality of life in her hometown.

Kaup was formally recognized at the Lead Strong: Women in Banking Conference held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on September 10. The Women of Impact Award was established to honor SDBA members who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and made lasting contributions to their organizations, communities, and the banking industry.
