Meet Michael Mattson. He works with companies on acquisition and expansion strategies and helps facilitate their equipment, line of credit, real estate and SBA 504 financing needs. Michael finds each client relationship to be unique and enjoys building strong, lasting relationships with business owners. He finds it extremely rewarding to be a part of their success. He brings over 35 years of deep and varied banking experience to his role at Plains Commerce Bank, including positions in commercial lending, credit, and management. 

Outside the bank, Michael enjoys golfing, hockey and hiking with his three dogs, E, Kodak and Ramzi.  He and his wife of 40 years, Sherrie, cherish time spent with their two children, Chelsea and Kenny, two “bonus children,” Jamie and Skylar and their two grandsons, Ridge and Kyron. Michael serves the Sioux Falls community by volunteering at Junior Achievement, the United Way, the Furniture Mission and Feeding South Dakota. He also serves as a member of the Sioux Falls Humane Society Finance Committee.
