Meet Kimberly Fiala. Kimberly joined our team in 2019, bringing with her a depth of experience in auditing, consulting, compliance, and analytical services. Initially tasked with developing and leading our Internal Audit Department, Kimberly's outstanding contributions over the past five years have led her to assume the pivotal role of Chief Risk Officer.

In her capacity as CRO, Kimberly is dedicated to supporting all facets of our bank with an integrated approach to compliance and risk management. She firmly believes in the power of relationship-building and collaboration, fostering strong ties between our Risk Departments and various Business Lines to ensure the effective implementation of controls and procedures. For Kimberly, the overarching success of our bank is paramount.

Kimberly lives in Sioux Falls where she enjoys time with her husband and children. She enjoys attending her kid’s events, going to the lake, traveling, and is an avid long-distance runner.

Kim is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds a Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA). She is also a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
