Meet Jacob Herrity. Jacob is a Business Banker at Plains Commerce Bank with a strong background in commercial lending and financial analysis. Since joining the bank after graduating from the University of South Dakota in 2019 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, he has served in several roles, including Mortgage Loan Partner and Commercial Credit Analyst. His expertise includes financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and loan structuring, allowing him to help businesses find strategic lending solutions that support their long-term goals.

One of the aspects Jacob enjoys most about commercial banking is the opportunity to build lasting relationships and help business owners turn their visions into reality. Whether clients are expanding operations, strengthening their financial position, or pursuing new opportunities, he takes pride in serving as a trusted financial partner throughout their journey.

Outside of work, Jacob is an active member of the Young Professionals Network (YPN) and volunteers with Feeding South Dakota and the Humane Society. He enjoys spending time with his wife, their son Harvey, family and friends, as well as boating, golfing, exercising, trying new restaurants, and keeping up with Cooper, the family's energetic Goldendoodle.
